Octoberfest is being held
Saturday, October 2 & Sunday, October 3. This is a very well attended event and a
wonderful opportunity for Gilda’s Club to reach out into the community and
get our message to more people. In addition to ourtreach, we will be
able to raise funds that help keep our wonderful programming going! All
of this is only possible if we have volunteers helping each day: Information Table:
Saturday, 10/2 12:30 – 4 or 3:30 – 6; Sunday 10/3 3:30 – 6. Parking: both
days , 2 hour shifts, between 8 AM & 5 PM.

meditative process that quiets the mind & calms the body. Through
mindfulness, one can experience greater vitality & well-being in the
present moment. Diane Reibel, PhD will guide participants through
various mindfulness practices & discuss their application for living
day-to-day with less stress, more clarity & greater compassion.
Diane is the Director of the Mindfulness Institute at Jefferson Myrna-Brind
Center of Integrative Medicine in Philadelphia. She has been teaching
Mindfulness & studying its health benefits for over 15 years. Her
research is widely cited in both scientific journals & the popular press.
