I became interested in
Gilda’s Club South Jersey when I was doing fundraising for the Boardwalk
Bullies Booster Club and Gilda’s Club South Jersey was one of our
beneficiaries. Soon thereafter, I began volunteering for Gilda’s. Since then,
I have volunteered at special events and done community outreach. I was also
able to help out financially with a pledge to the Red Door Society. Recently,
I was laid off from my job in commercial construction management and have
been able to devote more time to volunteering for Gilda’s South Jersey while
job hunting. I find nothing more
enjoyable than doing community outreach and having people come up to me and
tell me the wonderful things they have heard about Gilda’s or how Gilda’s has
helped a loved one, friend, colleague or client. I have watched Gilda’s grow,
thrive and continue to provide excellent services for those touched by
cancer. I believe in Gilda’s mission and look forward to volunteering
in any way that I can for years to come. Please help Gilda's
Club win some cash!
