Eating
Whole Foods With
Christina Pirello! The Redhead visited us again at
Gilda’s Club. No, not Lucy – Christina Pirello! Christina
helped us jump start our “Year of Eating Whole Foods” here at the clubhouse
by teaching us a few tricks for healthy, delicious, easy snacks.
Christina was joined by her husband, Robert, and together they taught us how
to eat right without being intimidated by our food, tips for weaning
ourselves off unhealthy foods, and the importance of plenty of water for
well-being. As a survivor, she also discussed the connection between
what we eat and cancer. Of course our
members had a ton of smart questions which Christina and Robert graciously
answered long into the evening. Talking and eating – a Gilda’s Club
tradition. Thank you, Christina. We’ll
watch you on PBS and look forward to spending time with you soon. If
you would like more information about what Christina is up to (and she’s
doing a ton of cool stuff) visit her website www.christinacooks.com. Visit our Facebook
page to view a quick video of the evening. Click here! Office Space Available!
